H&G follows a 5 step process to ensure your complete satisfaction:

1. Evaluate
2. At our warehouse we check for possible existing problems and damage BEFORE we do anything else. You will receive best advice during your discussion with our technician, at your home appointment, so together we can decide on the most appropriate cleaning method for your carpet.
3. Testing
4. We test to ensure that all dyes are ‘fixed’ so there isn’t any color-run, if they aren’t fixed we may still be able to clean the carpet by employing an additional dye fixing method.
5. Vacuuming (dusting)
6. Most rugs have soils trapped deep down in the rug’s pile where they are compacted. These soils are impossible to remove with a standard vacuum cleaner. The removal of this soil is the most important stage if we are to ensure your carpet is cleaned properly. To do this the rug must be turned onto it’s front and ‘beaten’ on the reverse-side to loosen the compacted soil. This can be a very dirty job so you can see why it’s not always practical to have this done in your home.
7. Cleaning
8. The cleaning method employed will largely depend on the extent and nature of the overall soiling, pre-existing damage, spots, spillages, pet accidents e.g. urine etc..
9. Groom and Dry
10. From the moment your carpet has completed the cleaning process it will be groomed and dried. We hang the carpets and aerate them to ensure fast drying so that the chances of shrinkage, damp odours and color-run are removed. All that’s left is for us is to return your carpet to you at an agreed time and date.
